“A flower blossoms for its own joy.” ― Oscar Wilde

“A garden to walk in and immensity to dream in–what more could he ask? A few flowers at his feet and above him the stars.”
― Victor Hugo, Les Misérables

Last night I sat in my garden inhaling the essence of the everything which makes my garden beautiful, colourful, inviting and intimate. The candles and garden torches were all lighting, bringing to me the energy of fire and passion. Above me the clouds floated and a few stars twinkled. I smiled as I thought that they must be happy with me – flowers around me and stars above me!

And then I found this quote this morning. How perfect.

“A garden to walk in and immensity to dream in–what more could he ask? A few flowers at his feet and above him the stars.”
Victor Hugo, Les Misérables

And then I found this other quote;

“A flower blossoms for its own joy.”
Oscar Wilde

How true. A flower blooms in it’s own time. Of course, it is influenced by the forces around it but it blooms for it’s own joy. Not to be compared to others, not to feel less or more than.. for it’s own joy.

Let us bloom for our own joy. Like the flowers, we are unique, beautiful and connected to all of creation. Bloom for you and for your joy – in your own time.

Love,

Mags
