What would make the day better for you?

In November 2018, a year ago, I playfully posed a question on my FB page to ask my friends – what would make the day better for them. I provided several options for answers. I moved on and completely forgot about my playful survey. The post came up in my memories this November and I was surprised to see that there were over 57 responses to my question and that the responses were forming a pattern. I reposted the same question again on November 3rd, 2019 and it drew some more responses from over 30 cities across the globe.

On the graph below, I have showcased the top 8 responses. The top response is spending time with someone I like, followed by a hug and then a soul conversation. These three top responses show our human connection and how important it is across the globe.

I believe that our human connection is what sets us apart, what we long for and what we are also afraid of. While we superficially mask our emotions or spend more time behind screens… perhaps what would make us feel whole, connected and great contributors of our societies, is extending the warmth of friendship.

A few other responders chose red lipstick, making love, not being in the presence of a particular person, going to work, not going to work, staying home, reading all the responses to the survey and a road trip.

You can participate in the survey too! by clicking on this link.

We need to remind ourselves of the beauty of human connection and of nature and pull ourselves out of devices for a moment and appreciate what it is just to be human beings. Olivia Wilde

Support my work in helping others to tune in and step up in living their soul missions.
