Wilson has been working with Mags Magazine since the inception of the project. He branded the Magazine as ‘Mags Magazine’. As Editor-In-Chief, he has played a pivotal part in managing Mags Magazine.
Wilson Jn.Baptiste has an MS degree in Tourism Management and a BSc in Hotel and Tourism Management from New York University (NYU),New York. In addition, Jn.Baptiste also holds a Certificate of Specialization in Financial and Managerial Accounting from the Educational Institute of the American Hotel and Motel Association. He has worked for over 20 years in the hospitality and tourism industries, both in the US and the Caribbean markets.
Jn. Baptiste is currently the Chief Executive Officer and founder of Gems of Saint Lucia/Caribbean. He developed the name brand, “Gems of Saint Lucia/Caribbean “for Saint Lucian/Caribbean tourism products (hotels, festivals, conferences, cultural and heritage sites), under the theme “Marketing Is Everybody’s Business, “which engages Saint Lucians and Caribbean nationals and Friends of St. Lucians/Caribbean nationals, globally, into marketing teams for the purpose of marketing the island’s/Caribbean’s tourism products. Jn. Baptiste is currently an Adjunct Professor at New York University where he teaches Hospitality and Tourism Accounting.
Mila Gertsenchtein is a graphic designer and she has worked with Mags Magazine from the inception of the project and designed the logo as well as both editions of Mags Magazine.
Mila Gertsenchtein has worked in a number of industries and holds an Ms. degree in Technology and Design of leather products. She transitioned to graphic design and is a creative person with wide professional experience in all aspects of printed graphic products. Currently, Mila is working as a Graphic Designer at Paper Studio in Ottawa and
develops solutions for a variety of events and functions. In parallel she maintains contacts with previous clients, provides a variety of graphic design services and often engages in freelance projects. In addition to graphic design, Mila partakes in a number of hobbies ranging from painting and crafts to reading and travelling.
Nyamulola Kambanji is a Canadian – Zambian and currently resides in Ottawa, Ontario. She has extensive work experience in banking and program research.
She is currently working as Knowledge and Partner Relations Officer on a government funded project, she is responsible for managing the work of several governance tables dedicated to improving immigrant integration outcomes related to economic, social, political, and civic engagement. She is mainly involved in developing and strengthening partnerships; facilitating the development of collaborative initiatives; building awareness; and conducting research and analysis. Nyamulola holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Economics and Electronic Commerce from the University of New Brunswick.
As an avid photographer, she is the founder of NK Photography and Immigrants of Ottawa where continues to contribute her photojournalistic skills to work around immigrant integration in Ottawa.
